It started with a yellow rocker...

Pete's passion for building started at a young age - 6 to be exact. That's when he made his first piece of furniture, a yellow rocking chair for his mom. Over the years Pete's interest in woodworking grew - along with his talent and knowledge.

During college Pete worked for a local construction company. After earning a degree in business from Kansas State University he went to work for a company in the Kansas City area building new homes. A business opportunity arose and he started a business in another field. During that time he continued to make fine furniture & cabinetry along with complete remodeling projects. After nearly a decade of being a successful business owner he decided to make his passion his career and earned a second bachelor's degree in Construction Science from Kansas State University.

After graduating he worked as a project manager for a large construction firm before going out on his own.

Now he is the proud owner of Cleeves & Sons (C&S) Construction.
